A SubSpecies of Tuberculosis… Has been proven to be the cause of Johns Disease.. An Inflammatory
Bowel Disease that has effected Cattle. The Disease causes inflammation and restriction of the Intestines of Cows which cause Malabsorption and eventually DEATH.
The similarities to human Crohns Disease and Ulcerative Colitis is STAGGERING. The amount of Crohns Patients who have tested Positive for MAP is even more shocking… An unbelievable percentage of The Milk tested on our Shelves - Even after Pasteurization.. HAVE THIS BACTERIA LIVING INSIDE.
The Question Is.. IS MAP BACTERIA. THE CAUSE OF CROHNS DISEASE? My assumption.. Probably.
They’ve been doing research the last 10 years to try and figure this out.. and we’re about 5 years away from possibly having some real proof. This is the sad reality of having a Disease that doctors apparently don’t know how it’s caused. - IT SUCKS.. it’s scary.., and frankly.. it’s up to us to get ourselves healthy.
The treatment for MAP in Cows is huge doses of Anti-Biotics.. That’s even if it survives. However.. Due to the recent push of Cattle NOT being treated with Anti Biotics and the push on Holistic Rotational Grazing.. May be causing this outbreak to be worse. — This is just speculation on my part.. I have no clue.. You’d have to ask CAFO Farmers.. But good luck finding them.. They’re hiding because that way of raising cattle is most likely the reason why this bug has gone on a Rampage in the Cattle population.
Do Cattle herds that Graze on Rotational Pastures come down with this bug?? I have NO IDEA. But i doubt it. This is one of the reasons (other than Carbon Sequestration and Soil Enhancement) That i’m such an Advocate for Intense Rational Grazing when raising Cattle.
I’ll most likely be avoiding the Biologic Weapon .. I mean .. Drug that was planned for me.. in hopes to try a Plethora of Anti Biotics. This is going to be difficult because I have to convince the Doc. to prescribe me 3 Separate Anti Bioticts and go with the way I want to be treated.. I’m sure I’ll get push back.. Because of the KickBack these Biologic Drug company manufacturers give doctors.. ITS BIG MONEY.
Imagine knowing you’ll get an extra 50K a year in kickbacks if you prescribe a specific amount of patients a certain drug. That’s how the US Medical Sick care works… It’s fucked UP.
I’m sure we’ll talk about MAP again.. as time goes.. But this is a little INTRO to the beginning of what I believe to be a HUGE SHIFT in Crohns understanding.. and possibly IBD as a whole. It Co-Insides with all of my research on Gut Flora, Bacteria and Fungi that resides inside of our system.. and why it would be effecting our MicroVilli = Causing Inflammation of the Intestines and hindering Absorption.
